Joy Behar Launches Despicable Attack on Trump Supporters

Left-wing television host Joy Behar hit a new low on Monday when she launched a vile attack on President Donald Trump and those who support him. Behar went so far as to call the president “unpatriotic” and to say that conservatives who support him should take off “those flag pins.”

Fox News reported that Behar was talking to Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, on her ABC talk show “The View” when she made the comments. Crenshaw tried to say that he does not support Trump’s “character flaws,” but Behar fired back by saying that the president’s issues go way beyond that.

“It isn’t just that. Let’s talk about, you know, the fact that he met with Putin for 90 minutes… and never once brought up the fact that Russia, Russia interfered in our election,” she said. “And he never brought it up. How is it that the Republican Party, your colleagues, can stand by this man when he is involved in this way with Russia?”

“I said last week I don’t want to see any of those flag pins anymore on Republicans who don’t stand up against this guy for Russian meddling, and other things that he’s done,” Behar continued. “It seems as though he’s unpatriotic. What do you say to that?”

Thankfully, Crenshaw refused to back down to Behar, accusing her of “overstating it” and explaining that the specific conversation she mentioned was about Venezuela.

“I will give you this. The president has a bad habit of repeating what Putin says to the public,” Crenshaw said. “He shouldn’t do that. But he also has a pretty good habit of taking actions and putting policies in place that are vehemently counter-Russia.”

It’s nothing short of ridiculous that Behar would accuse Trump of being unpatriotic. Ever since he took office, everything Trump has done has been with the goal of making this country great again. While modern liberals bash our country every chance they get, Trump and his supporters are always trying to remind everyone how great our country really is.

This is why it’s also absurdly offensive that Behar would suggest that conservatives should no longer wear pins with our flag on it. Unlike liberals like Behar, conservatives actually stand behind our flag and give it the love and respect that it deserves. I don’t know about you, but I won’t be taking off my American flag pin anytime soon.
