Goldberg Confirmed For Upcoming WWE TV

– In a week from now, WWE will return to Saudi Arabia for Super ShowDown. The first match confirmed will see a pair of wrestlers past their prime, but also two of the biggest stars from their respective  companies as Goldberg battles The Undertaker.

We already know Undertaker will appear on RAW to hype the match and Goldberg has now been announced for Tuesday’s SmackDown. This will be Goldberg’s first match since WrestleMania 33 and Undertaker has not competed since last year’s Crown Jewel. Below is the official press release.

Goldberg comes to SmackDown LIVE for the first time this Tuesday

Three days before his highly anticipated matchup against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg will journey to SmackDown LIVE for the first time ever this coming Tuesday!

The former Universal Champion hasn’t set foot in a WWE ring since the night after he battled Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. It does not go unnoticed that Goldberg is choosing to appear on SmackDown, the brand with which The Phenom has long been associated. What are Goldberg’s intentions and what will his rare appearance mean for his once-in-a-lifetime clash with The Deadman next Friday?

Find out on the final stop en route to Super ShowDown, days before the two legends collide in a contest that promises to be one of the top matches of the year. Don’t miss SmackDown LIVE, this Tuesday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.

– We should be seeing the Authors of Pain back in action shortly. Post Wrestling reports that Akam has been cleared to return after needing knee surgery in January.

As of right now, WWE is waiting for a program before bringing the team back to TV. They could have returned earlier, but the Wild Card rule has taken away TV time for non main event talent.

No word if Drake Maverick will remain as their manager.
