After scoring a big win over Megan Anderson in her UFC debut, could Felicia Spencer face Cris “Cyborg” next?

Spencer took on Anderson at UFC Rochester, and proceeded to submit the featherweight contender in the opening round. With the win, it moved the Canadian’s overall record to 7-0.

Well, after her massive win, Spencer was asked by TSN’s Aaron Bronsteter if she’d be interested in facing “Cyborg”. The 28-year-old said it would be her honor, and it didn’t take long for “Cyborg” to respond:

July 27th Edmonton Canada. ❤️ I have had one @ufc fight in 15 months. Challenge accepted. #CyborgNation

It will be interesting to see what happens here. Would the UFC be interested in matching Spencer up against one of the greatest female fighters of all time? In her second UFC bout? Maybe. Anderson is widely considered to be one of the top featherweights in the game.

“Cyborg” hasn’t fought since December, 2018, when her reign as featherweight champ was quickly ended by Amanda Nunes.
