Combate Americas today announced the completion of its star-studded fight card with eight new bouts for the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sports franchise’s debut in Stockton, Calif. on Friday live on television in Spanish in the U.S. on both Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and UDN (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m.PT), and in English in the U.S. and Canada on DAZN (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).

Priced from $22, tickets for the first-ever Combate Americas live event at Stockton Arena are on sale at Ticketmaster.com, as well as at the Stockton Arena box office.

Among the new matchups announced today was a flyweight (125 pounds) co-main event affair between Hector “Kid Alex” Sandoval (14-4) and Jorge Calvo Martin (10-4).

Born in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico, the 32-year-old Sandoval fights out of retired, former world champion Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male camp in Sacramento, Calif. and has held three different titles in the sport over the course of his 11-year career.

Fighting out of Chicago, Ill., the 27-year-old Martin of San Jose, Costa Rica is looking to rebound from a second round (4:57) knockout at the hands of Jaime Alvarez on January 25. Martin has earned 6 of his 10 career wins by way of (T)KO or submission.

Also announced today was a women’s matchup, which will be contested at bantamweight (135 pounds) between previously announced superstar and former world champion Zoila “The Warrior Princess’ Frausto (14-5), who will square off with Simone “Mulher Gato” Duarte (8-1).

The bantamweight affair has been tabbed as a featured matchup on the live televised main card.

Frausto of Madera, Calif. is coming off a first round (1:52) TKO (knee to the body) of Jaimelene Nievera in a flyweight tilt on February 22. The fight marked Frausto’s debut for Combate Americas and her first MMA start since 2016.

Also a professional boxer with a career record of 15-12 (6 KO’s) in the sweet science, Duarte of Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil is looking for her fifth consecutive victory under MMA rules.

The previously announced showdown between Team Alpha Male star Erick Sanchez (8-4) of Sacramento and Alex “Bam” Velasco (8-3) of Ensenada, B.C., Mexico will be contested as the main event at lightweight (155 pounds).

In featured featherweight (145 pounds) action, Jordan Mapa (2-1) of San Francisco, Calif. will square off with Tino “No Mercy” Gilaranz (1-1) of Madrid, Spain.

Elsewhere on the card, Irene “La Nina” Cabello Rivera (8-6) of Barcelona, Spain will face off with undefeated, rising star Charisa Sigala (4-0) of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. at atomweight (105 pounds).

Unbeaten Andreu Mendoza (1-0) of Canyon Country, Calif. will collide with Camilo Mejia (0-0) of San Francisco.

Victor “El Desperado” Rico (0-3) of Ridgecrest, Calif. will take on Michael “Beastmode” Humphrey (0-1) of Sacramento in a 150-pound catchweight fight.

Ryan “Cowboy” Reneau (4-6-1) of Bakersfield, Calif. will go to war with Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor (4-5) of Alameda, Calif. at lightweight.

In a 160-pound catchweight fight, Samuel “The Alley Cat” Alvarez (3-3) of Manteca, Calif. will meet Ray “Baby Ray” Cervera (6-9) of Bakersfield.

A previously announced featherweight bout between Jose Aguayo (2-2) of Stockton and Darwin Mendez (3-1) of Bronx, N.Y. has been scrapped due to injuries sustained by both fighters.
