Early on at UFC Fort Lauderdale, it looked like Glover Teixeira was going to be taken out by rising light-heavyweight Ion Cutelaba. But, the rugged vet rebounded to add another, memorable win to his record.

Cutelaba was light on his feet to begin the bout and he quickly grazed Teixeira with a head kick. Teixeira attempted to take the fight down but was denied. Cutelaba cracked Teixeira with a hard right not long after, moments latter, he stunned Teixeira badly with a spinning back fist. Teixeira weathered the storm and soon had Cutelaba defending a guillotine attempt.

Teixeira fired off some massive rights to begin round two, but failed to get Cutelaba down again. Both light-heavyweights continued to chuck heavy shots, and near the three-minute mark, Cutelaba responded with a bit of taunting. Moments later, the fight spilled to the floor and Teixeira proceeded to take Cutelaba’s back. Teixeira sunk in a rear-naked-choke and that was that.
