Smackdown Live: 8 pm EST

Show opens up and the self-proclaimed “Best In The World”, Shane McMahon, comes out to the ring. Shane says he doesn’t have much time but he still wants the ring announcer to announce him correctly before he gets started. The ring announcer belts out a “Best in the world” for Shane and Shane says it’s good enough. Then Shane starts to address Roman Reigns’ attack on his father, Vince McMahon, from last week. Shane shows the clip of Reigns dropping Vince with a Superman Punch. Shane says he knows the clip is horrific to watch.

What kind of man hits another man’s father like that, Shane asks mere weeks after assaulting The Miz’s father himself. Shane says Vince is one of the greatest men on earth and Reigns’ action were beyond appalling. He is now trying to decide what to do about it. Should he fine Reigns, he asks? Suspend him? Or should he fire him? Shane says he may be letting his emotions get the best of him. Instead, he orders Reigns to come out to the ring and face him right now. And he emphasizes that it’s not a request, it’s an order. Reigns’ music hits and he comes out.

Reigns gets in the ring and the two men posture as though they’re about to throw down. But then Elias comes out and causes a distraction. Shane starts landing shots on Reigns, but Reigns fights back. Elias gets involved and he and Shane batter Reigns in a 2-on-1 attack. They leave Reigns laid out in the ring and Shane embraces Elias for the assist.

Becky says Charlotte is not next in line and that she wants new challenges. Becky wants Charlotte to move aside for some of the other women. Bayley comes out and says this is all just the same old story. She can remember how many times Becky has beaten Charlotte, but she can also remember how many times Becky has beaten her> Zero.
