His guest is WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, who comes out with his New Day brother Xavier Woods. Owens congratulates Kofi on his stunning achievement at WrestleMania. He stands and claps along with the audience in honor of Kofi, and Kofi shows his gratitude for the sentiment. Owens then points out that Big E isn’t there and Woods reveals that E was injured in a match last week.

Owens says that Kofi has some important real estate on his shoulder right now and he’s never needed backup more. He offers to be an honorary member of New Day in Big E’s stead. After proving that he can shake his hips with the best of them, and with the approval of the crowd chanting “Oui!”, Owens is made a New Day member. Kofi, Owens and Woods then dance around in the ring as the crowd chants “New Day rocks!”

Vince McMahon comes out to announce what he says is the biggest acquisition in the history of Smackdown Live. Then he brings out Elias. Everyone seems confused by this, but Elias says that clearly Vince knows what WWE stands for. And what better way to kickoff a new era of Smackdown, he says, than walking with Elias. The crowd boos him. Elias says he knows the fans are all bummed out because AJ Styles is gone from Smackdown, but this place will soon become the Temple of Elias. Elias starts to strum his guitar. But then Roman Reigns’ music hits.

The crowd goes wild as it becomes apparent Reigns is the latest addition to the Smackdown roster. Elias prepares for a fight and Reigns obliges him. Reigns nails Elias with a Superman Punch. Then Vince starts trash talking Reigns and giving him hell. The crowd starts to rumble as Reigns eyes the boss. Then he charges and leaps and plants the Superman Punch on Vince’s chin and drops him cold. The crowd roars and Reigns grabs the mic saying, “This is my yard now.” Reigns starts to leave and Elias helps Vince, who is still rocked.

Reigns ends up reaching the entrance-way, then turns around and returns to the ring to Spear Elias. Then, finally, Reigns leaves. Both Elias and Vince stagger around the ring with invisible stars swirling around their heads.
