After rescuing Madonna from the skinheads, I stopped keeping track of all the fighting games out there. And anyway, there were suddenly so many iterations of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat that having a handle on them was hopeless. But I’m guessing former UFC star Sage Northcutt knows what’s what in terms of who fights who in the various digital realities.
Or at least who knows who fights who in Street Fighter, because he’s apparently in some low-budget version of the game.
Look, it’s going to be hard to top the 1994 flick starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, which is the yardstick by which all Street Fighter movies is measured. But maybe ol’ Sage can make the most of this.
