RAW Finalized "Last Minute"

Monday Night RAW is WWE’s flagship show, but recently, it has been experiencing WCW moments when it comes to last-minute changes to the script. Last night was no exception to this rule.

Bryan Alvarez hopped on Twitter right before RAW was to air, stating Team Red’s script was finalized a mere four minutes before the show was to air (live) on the USA Network.

Sadly, this appears to be an on-going trend with RAW and SmackDown LIVE as of late, with Ringside News reporting that WWE writers are leaving the company left, right, and center, thanks to the frustrations around the Chairman, Vince McMahon, and the fact that he is constantly changing his mind around direction for the shows at the umptieth hour.

Perhaps it is time for HHH to take the reigns over the entire company?

– For those who missed it, Bray Wyatt made a huge return this week during RAW, with a revamped character. He’s still working under the same name; however, he is now portraying an edgy (and creepy) host of a children’s TV show. The show is entitled Firefly Fun House, and while the promo did get mixed reactions from fans, it does seem that the entire segment did create a stir.

So much so that the YouTube video for the promo has close to one million views as of this writing (a mere 14 hours after it was posted) and is sitting in YouTube’s overall trending list, currently.

Not only did many within the company and industry comment on Wyatt’s new persona and his comeback, but it certainly did spark something within the WWE Universe as “Bray Wyatt” was also trending on Twitter last night after the Firefly Fun House debuted, right before RAW’s main event match, at the close to the show.

Here’s hoping we continue to see more of Wyatt and this updated character, as it does seem to have gotten people’s attention.
