After defeating featherweight king Max Holloway last weekend at UFC 236, Dustin Poirier has taken a huge leap into the promotion’s pound-for-pound top 15.

Poirier faced Holloway for the interim lightweight title, and he proceeded to outscore the renowned fighter for the UD win. Well, the new UFC rankings have been released, and the media panel who determines them has placed Poirier at #8 in the P4P top 15.  The former featherweight was not ranked in the top 15 prior to UFC 236.

Holloway, meanwhile, slipped one slot in the P4P ranks and is now #5.  Flyweight champ, Henry Cejudo, moved up to #4.

In another big move, Anthony Pettis, who recently knocked out welterweight contender Stephen Thompson, has been voted into the #9 spot at 155.
