CM Punk Works Indy Show (Video)

– Several media outlets are confirming that CM Punk worked last night’s MKE Wrestling event titled The Last Knight from Wisconsin in-front of 350 people. The news was then confirmed by the founder of MKE Wrestling, Silas Young.

During a match, a masked wrestled ran into the ring and performed the GTS before heading to the back. The person was covered in clothing, so there was no way to recognize any of Punk’s distinctive tattoos. Some have said Punk has done the same thing before, but we are unable to confirm that.

Wrestling fans have not seen Punk compete since the 2014 Royal Rumble. At that time, he was already fed-up with WWE and walked out of the company for good. A lawsuit would follow as WWE sued Punk over negative comments he made during Colt Cabana’s podcast. The courts ended up siding with with Punk and Cabana. Punk signed with the UFC, where he lost both fights in one-sided affairs and was then released.

Punk has made it clear that he would never return to WWE and pro wrestling was a chapter in his life that passed. Below is video of Punk’s involvement at MKE Wrestling’ The Last Knight.

– Sanity is no more thanks to the Superstar Shake-Up as Eric Young went to RAW and Killian Dain remained on SmackDown. Nikki Cross is believed to also be working on the RAW brand, but WWE has not confirmed that information. There was speculation that Alexander Wolfe would leave the main roster and head back to NXT. Wolfe did exit the main roster, but he is actually working NXT UK.

At the recent NXT UK tapings, Wolfe assisted WWE UK Champion WALTER & Marcel Barthel defeat British Strong Style. It appears NXT UK has a new heel stable.
