– For almost a year now, there has been talk of Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC to challenge Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier. It goes back to UFC 226, where Cormier won the title and then Lesnar shoved him during the post-fight interview.

During a press conference, UFC President Dana White did not sound confident in the fight happening.

“Seriously, that fight isn’t even in the works,” said White. “That fight may not even happen. It’s what we wanted to do, but we haven’t even talked to Brock. When Brock Lesnar’s ready, he’ll call me. I don’t know if he’ll fight again, but we don’t have a date with him now.”

White continued that Cormier might fight Stipe Miocic, who he defeated last summer for the title. Cormier has stated in the past that he plans to retire after his next bout. As for Cormier, he is just getting back into the gym after being out of action for several months due to injuries.

Fans last saw Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, where he lost the Universal Championship to Seth Rollins. That match opened the main card and we have not seen or heard anything about Lesnar’s current status with WWE.

– Considering what happened on RAW and SmackDown, Becky Lynch is getting ready to work a program with Lacey Evans. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that was not the original plan.

WWE had thought about Becky taking on Charlotte Flair, who would make a case about not being pinned or submitted at WrestleMania 35, but she still lost her title. While that idea seems to be off the table for the moment, WWE will likely have those work another feud in the next few months. We have not heard much from Ronda Rousey or Charlotte since they lost to Becky in the first ever female main event of WrestleMania.
