UFC Philadelphia: Justin Gaethje Quickly Bombs Out Edson Barboza

Justin Gaethje added another, thrilling stoppage to his resume tonight at UFC Philadelphia, by quickly taking out Edson Barboza.

Both lightweights came out firing leg kicks, as expected, but then Gaethje rocked Barboza with a big, right hook. The two proceeded to trade wildly before Gaethje clinched up along the cage.

Eventually, they broke away from the cage, but Gaethje continued to press forward. Moments later, Gaethje sent Barboza crashing to the deck with a vicious, right hook and the fight was done. Another, jaw-dropping, first-round knockout win for “The Highlight”.

Gaethje was coming off a first round, knockout win over James Vick last August.
