It’s no secret that Piers Morgan is not a fan of Prince Harry’s American, former actress wife, Meghan Markle, but his latest foray into criticizing the royal couple has crossed over into the nonsensical.

In a recent article, Morgan revisited one of his favorite past times, bashing Meghan Markle, this time claiming she’s turned Prince Harry from a fun-loving bachelor into a staid and mature married man and expectant father.

“Since meeting his American actress wife Meghan Markle, he seems to have renounced his devilishly playful side,” Morgan griped in the U.K.’s Daily Mail, “and morphed into a squeaky-clean, teetotal, kale munching fitness freak.”

Prince Harry has changed.

Morgan also lamented the “memories of that wild night in Las Vegas when Harry was snapped playing naked billiards with a bunch of random equally de-clothed strangers.”

What? A wife has encouraged her husband to live a healthier and calmer life? The nerve! This also completely ignores the fact that Harry is in his mid-30’s now and it would be odd if he wasn’t maturing past his wild partying days.

The impetus and focus of Morgan’s grumbling (this time) is a speech the Duke of Cambridge gave recently to a progressive charity organization in Britain, called WE. The content of the speech, Piers claims, was written or at least highly influenced by Meghan Markle.

Is Meghan Markle writing Prince Harry’s speeches?

“It was at this point, I realised Harry hadn’t written a word of this guff. Can you honestly imagine him coming up with such absurdly hyperbolic, insubstantial rhetoric?” Morgan wrote. “This guy was a British Army officer, for God’s sake!”

“The clue that it might be someone else’s literary handiwork came with his next line: ‘As my wife often reminds me with one of her favourite quotes by Martin Luther King Jr.,” Morgan alleges.

Piers Morgan is truly letting his sour grapes over being “ghosted” by Markle when she started dating Prince Harry turn him into a seething ball of irrationality.

Husbands and wives influence each other and make each other better – it’s kind of the point of marriage. Yet, Piers immediately jumps to accusing Harry of letting Meghan write his speech, rather than him simply including a reference to discussions he’s had with his wife. This says more about Piers than it does the Duke or Duchess.
