ONE’s “A New Era” card will take place one week from today, and it will feature the promotional debut of former UFC and Bellator champ, Eddie Alvarez.
Alvarez will take on Timofey Nastyukhin in the opening round of ONE’s lightweight grand-prix, who is coming off a KO loss to Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev. Prior to that the Russian fighter had won back-to-back bouts.
Alvarez, meanwhile, will be fighting for the first time since last July, when he was stopped by Dustin Poirier. The decorated fighter knocked out Justin Gaethje in his bout prior.
