Mother Caught Telling Teenage Daughter to Punch Another Girl

A disturbing video is going viral this week showing a parent get involved in a fight between two teenagers in the worst way possible.

Yahoo News reported that this incident took place last Friday in Turlock, California, and it started as a disagreement between two 13-year-old girls. Things took a nasty turn when the mother of one of the girls grabbed the other teen and instructed her daughter to assault her.

“Hit her! It’s after school. It’s after school. You can’t get in trouble,” the mother can be heard saying.

Irina Lizarraga Acuna, the mother of the victim, said that she places all the blame for this on the mother and none on the teenager who hit her daughter.

“It’s horrible for a parent to watch that. It’s awful,” Acuna said. “You feel really … I feel guilty, you know? I wish I would have been there to help her.”

“In the video, you can see that the teenager doesn’t even want to hit my daughter. She’s being forced by her mom to hit her,” she added. “You know, I’m not even mad — I can’t be mad at the teenager. I’m mad at the mom. How could you force your daughter to hit someone else?”

Acuna went on to explain that the other girl had been bullying her daughter on the school bus for quite some time, and this fight happened after her daughter finally stood up for herself.

“My daughter told her, ‘Stop talking about me. Leave me alone. Stop, you know, calling me names,'” Acuna said. “And told the girl she wasn’t afraid of her, to leave her alone, and this is when everything else started.”

Police are investigating the incident, and the Turlock Unified School District released a brief statement after the video went viral.

“Like most who have viewed this video, we were appalled by this attack,” the school district said. “We have identified those shown in the video and have shared this information with the Turlock Police Department who are conducting an investigation.”

The video is horrifying to watch, and we can only hope the mother in question is arrested for what she did. What kind of example does she think she’s setting for her daughter by encouraging her to hit another child? The police should throw the book at this despicable woman and make an example of her so that parents all over the nation will see that this kind of behavior is unacceptable.
