Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has released his first public statement since an incident early Monday morning outside of a Miami Beach nightclub hotel.

McGregor is charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief after taking a cellphone of a man attempting to take his picture. The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion allegedly smashed the phone and took it with him.

After being booked, McGregor posted bond and was released. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for April.

The incident comes just days after “Notorious” completed community service for his role in the April attack at the Barclays Center involving Khabib Nurmagomedov and other fights and UFC officials.

“Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on,” McGregor wrote. “I love my fans dearly. Thank you all.”
