– Monday’s RAW was special as Roman Reigns opened the show to let the WWE Universe know that his leukemia is in remission. Most WWE officials were kept in the dark about what Reigns would say and Nia Jax opened up about the mood backstage.

“You know what, he has us all on edge and we were all waiting for what he had to say,” said Jax on Mike Jones at DC 101. “Just seeing him around was amazing. It helped everybody and we were just so happy to hear that he was in remission. There wasn’t a dry eye backstage, 100 percent. We were in all in happy tears just jumping up and down. Now we feel whole again because we were missing our Superman. Now he’s back.”

It was back in October that Reigns announced his private battle with leukemia had returned after 11 years. He would relinquish the Universal Championship and made good on his promise by returning to WWE to a massive pop.

As for what is next, WWE is working on a match for Reigns at next week’s Fastlane. There has been talk of him teaming with Seth Rollins; with the possibility of Dean Ambrose joining them to reform The Shield. Also, Braun Strowman’s name has been tossed around as another potential partner.

– At Saturday’s live event from Indiana, Mustafa Ali retuned to action. His appearance was not announced ahead of time and Ali ended up losing to WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

The former 205 Live superstar turned SmackDown talent has been out of action for several weeks due to a concussion. As a result, he pulled from the Elimination Chamber Match and replaced by Kofi Kingston.

Before the concussion, Ali was getting a massive push and it seems like nothing has changed. There is a good chance he appears on Tuesday’s SmackDown.

Below are a few pictures of Ali’s return from injury.
