-Over the weekend, WWE held a house show in Tupelo, Mississippi. Conflicting reports have come out of the house show. A report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer indicates that departing Superstar Dean Ambrose may have suffered an as-yet undisclosed injury in his match against Drew McIntyre. A Twitter user actually indicated that the injury could be to McIntyre.
Not sure what really happened in mcintyre and Ambrose match at #wwetupelo the X got threw up after McIntyre hit Ambrose with the claymore kick @davemeltzerWON

If it is an injury to Ambrose, it would be unfortunate. The Lunatic Fringe is basically on his farewell tour, unless WWE manages to convince him to re-sign.
If it is an injury to McIntyre, that could be devastating as the Scottish Psychopath seemed primed and ready to become the top heel in 2019, and possibly Universal Champion at some point. An injury to McIntyre, if severe, could derail those plans.
-There are plenty of changes going on within WWE’s backstage and creative teams of late. These certainly point to WWE doing anything it can to freshen up the product.
Recently it was announced that WWE was bringing back Bruce Prichard in a full time role. Prichard had been a consultant since the beginning of 2019, and had previously served with the company during another stint.
In addition to Prichard, WWE has promoted Steve Corino and has also brought in names like Sonjay Dutt, Abyss and Jeff Jarrett.
Now, we have a new name. A well-known writer has posted on his Twitter that he is joining the WWE Creative team shortly. Dave Schilling has previously written for Bleacher Report and Grantland, among other sites.
SOME PERSONAL NEWS: I can finally reveal that Iām joining the creative team at WWE next month. I could not be more thrilled to have this opportunity in an industry I love.

It’s too soon to tell if all the changes will be for the better, but we at least see WWE putting in an effort to change things.
