Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey made quick work of Ruby Riott at WWE’s Elimination Chamber event Sunday night.
Rousey defended her WWE Raw women’s title with a submission victory in just 1:40. She is expected to be in one of the marquee matches at the upcoming WrestleMania 35 event set for April 7 when she faces Charlotte Flair.
Originally, Rousey was to face Becky Lynch, but Lynch was “suspended” by Vince McMahon and replaced with Flair at WrestleMania. Lynch appeared after the bout Sunday night and attacked both champion and challenger, leaving “Rowdy” with a nasty cut.
