Cynthia Calvillo moved her UFC record to an impressive 5-1 tonight at UFC Phoenix, by outstriking Cortney Casey.

Calvillo came out pressuring early on and fired off plenty of kicks to the inside of Casey’s lead leg. The latter, meanwhile, largely looked to counter. In round two, Casey picked up the pace, but Calvillo managed to score more often. In round three, Calvillo was clearly bothered by the low kicks Casey had landed, but once again, she led the way in volume and was awarded the decision win.
