It’s not too often the co-headliner for an event is arguably a bigger bout than the headliner, but one could make that case for UFC Fortaleza.
That’s because in today’s co-main event, the legendary Jose Aldo will battle rising featherweight, Renato “Moicano”. In fact, not long ago, UFC President Dana White reported that they had planned for this fight to headline tonight’s card, but Aldo opted to take the three round, co-headling bout instead.
Recently the UFC posted the video below which features Daniel Cormier previewing tonight’s pivotal fight.
In the main event, bantamweight contenders Raphael Assuncao and Marlon Moraes will square off in what is likely a title shot eliminator.
