Dillon Danis is the latest person who was involved with the now infamous post-fight brawl at UFC 229 to be hit with a fine and suspension from the Nevada Commission.
According to reports, Danis has been suspended for seven months and fined $7,500 for the role he played in the incident at the October 6th card. The talented grappler, who made his MMA debut last April for Bellator, will be eligible to compete again on May 6th.
Khabib Nurmagomedov, who appeared to be targeting Danis when he jumped over the cage, following his win over Conor McGregor, was suspended nine months and fined $500K.
So, now that we know when Danis (1-0) will be able to fight again, don’t be surprised if Bellator books the outspoken fighter for a card in early summer.
