Bellator 216 is in the books, and Michael Page has advanced to the semifinals of Bellator’s welterweight grand-prix, but not in the manner most observers expected.

As you’ll see by watching the highlights below, last night’s headliner between Page and rival Paul Daley did not feature the explosive, striking exchanges many predicted. Instead, good portions of the fight saw Daley attacking with wrestling.

The card also saw Mirko “Cro Cop” avenge a 2011 loss to Roy Nelson and Cheick Kongo hand Vitaly Minakov his first loss.
