Sergei Kharitonov

Most folks expected last night’s scrap between Matt Mitrione and Sergei Kharitonov to end quickly and violently, but, no one wanted to see what actually unfolded…Well, you would hope.

The heavyweight sluggers threw down in the main event of Bellator 215, sort of. Moments into the fight, Mitrione attempted a low kick, which ended up blasting Kharitonov right in the groin. The Russian fighter was unable to continue and the fight was called off. Hopefully, Kharitonov’s okay.
