Donald Cerrone has made it very clear he wants to face Conor McGregor next, in fact, “Cowboy’s” willing to go fight the star in his native Ireland.

Cerrone has been pushing for a fight with McGregor for a little while now, and after he stopped Alex Hernandez last night at UFC Brooklyn, he repeated that wish. Not long after, McGregor tweeted out that he’s down to face the rugged vet.

Well, while speaking to media after the impressive win, Cerrone was asked about the possibility of facing McGregor, and here’s some of what the star had to say (quotes via MMA Junkie):

“He (McGregor) dictates everything, man,” Cerrone said. “I can say yes. Well, I can’t say I’ll fight anybody anymore, because now I told my team I’ll take it easy. I want a top-five guy. Conor’s (No.) 2. That equals top-five to me. He’s the master of talking (expletive). I’m sure he’ll try and get under my skin. It will be fun.”

“March, April, May – the sun’s out,” Cerrone said, while discussing a possible timeline and location. “I can bring my boat and RV to (Las) Vegas. I’m sure it will be in Vegas, or Ireland. (Expletive) yeah. Let’s go.”

Now the waiting game begins, in terms of what’s next for McGregor. The former champ is expected to appear in front of the Nevada Commission later this month, in connection with the post-fight brawl that happened following his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October.
