Not long after Jorge Masvidal let Darren Till know he was down to face the British fighter in the UFC’s upcoming, London card, Dana White’s announced the fight is a go.

Masvidal recently let Till know he was interested in facing the welterweight fighter, and now White’s told ESPNĀ that the two will square off in the headliner of the March 16th event.

Till (17-1-1) will be competing for the first time since he was submitted by champion Tyron Woodley last September. Prior to that, in May, 2018, Till outscored Stephen Thompson for the decision victory.

Masvidal (32-13) hasn’t fought since November, 2017, when he lost via decision to Thompson. “Gamebred” dropped a split decision loss to Demian Maia before that.

In addition, White’s also announced that Leon Edwards (16-3) will face Gunnar Nelson (17-3-1) in the co-main event.

So, those are two compelling welterweight fights that will air on ESPN+.
