The Man Becky Lynch celebrated her 32nd birthday this week. Naturally, she got sent a lot of birthday wishes from friends and fellow superstars. One birthday wish stood out though, since it came from none other than Vince McMahon.

In true Becky style, Lynch replied to Vince with a mocking brass ring tweet. Here’s the story!

I Own That Brass Ring

Vince McMahon regularly tells his superstars to “grab that brass ring.” When Becky Lynch received some birthday wishes from Vince McMahon, she could not resist to have a little dig at Vince’s popular statement:

“Got some new earrings to match that brass ring I own.”

Not surprisingly, the WWE Universe loved the Tweet. Fans put on some gifs and memes of their own to celebrate the jab. Here are some of my favourite responses.

More Birthday Wishes

Vince was not the only one who sent some birthday wishes to the man. In fact, another one came from Mick Foley and was quite heartwarming. In the tweet, he stated he was once her hero, now she was his.

Mick Foley has been a big supporter of Becky Lynch throughout her career. In fact, only a couple of days ago, Foley posted a picture of himself sporting The Man’s shirt.

2019 – The Year of The Man

Becky Lynch ended 2018 with a bang, but 2019 is looking to become even better for her. She is slowly becoming the main attraction on both brands. While she is already in the heart’s of the universe, the WWE seems to finally understand they need to push Becky with all their might.

One of the matches that is almost guaranteed this year is the one against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. While it could become a triple threat that will include Charlotte as well, the match could become the main event of WrestleMania. Being one of the first women to headline the biggest pay-per-view of the year, it could be the achievement to make Becky one of the greatest female wrestlers to have ever lived. Of course, she will get some competition from Charlotte and other iconic female wrestlers such as Asuka.
