Alexander Gustafsson’s Not Wasting Any Time Following UFC 232 Loss, Calls Out Corey Anderson

Alexander Gustafsson clearly isn’t interested in taking any time off, following his loss to Jon Jones at UFC 232, as “The Mauler” has already called out Corey Anderson.

Gustafsson failed to take home the light-heavyweight crown at the December 29th event, as Jones proceeded to stop him in round three. Anderson also fought that night, and earned a decision win over Gustafsson’s friend and teammate, Ilir Latifi.

Well, more recently, Gustafsson posted the respectful call-out below.

Corey everyone else at the top is taken, I am eager to get right back inside the cage and you just had a good fight with my brother, so I think it’s the perfect time for us to throw down. Let’s dance on the London card March 16th #ufclondon

From a rankings perspective, it’s a fight that certainly makes sense. Gustafsson is currently ranked #2 in the UFC’s 205 and Anderson is #6. The question is whether Anderson is looking to fight again so quickly.
