WWE Superstars Rumored to Jump Ship

A new wrestling promotion is in town and it could rival the WWE. Naturally, there are some wrestlers who might be seeing this promotion as a greener pasture, which has led to lots of speculation.

There is no doubt that some wrestlers are being mistreated in the WWE at the moment. So, they are prime candidates for a switch to AEW. Here are the most likely candidates.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Two would be more than justified to switch to another wrestling promotion are Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Since their arrival in the WWE, the company has made little effort with the Good Brothers. Instead, they almost obtained a jobber status, elevating other tag teams while not getting the chance to shine themselves.

Jumping ship to AEW would certainly be good for Gallows and Anderson. The pair would finally get the exposure they deserve and even get some dream matches along the way.

Rusev

If there is anyone at this point who would jump ship to a promotion that appreciates him and actually does something with his popularity, it is Rusev. Both he and Lana have been put on the back burner by the WWE, despite the fact they have shown to be hard workers who want to do well.

Samoa Joe

While this suggestion may sound like a stretch to some, Samoa Joe had his fair share of mistreatment from the WWE over the past year. Much like Rusev, Samoa Joe has been extremely popular with the WWE Universe. Despite this popularity, he has gained little in terms of title gains and recognition.

Being a wrestler does not always mean you need a title to be popular, but it does feel like the WWE does not want to push Samoa Joe as a champion. Despite the fact his promos are amazing and his rivalry with AJ Styles unmatched, it seems like the WWE have all but forgotten about Samoa Joe.

More WWE Wrestlers That Could Be Heading to AEW

When it comes time to sign their new contracts, I have no doubt some wrestlers will think twice. The wrestlers above are the most obvious choices for a brand switch, but there could be more jumping ship over time.

Another prime example of a team that could make the switch is The Revival. Being plagued by injuries, the team was put on the background rather quick. Despite their success in NXT, it seems Vince is phasing out The Revival.

Some bigger names could follow suit as well, including Finn Balor, another wrestler with major talent and too little to show for it. Balor also has strong ties to the Bullet Club, which could land him a prime spot in the new promotion.
