After handing top lightweight contender Kevin Lee a defeat at UFC Milwaukee last weekend, Al Iaquinta has made a big leap up the promotion’s 155 ranks.

Following the event, which saw Iaquinta defeat Lee by unanimous decision, ‘Raging Al’ has moved up four spots and is sitting in the #4 position. Lee, on the other hand, only slipped one ranking and is now #5.

The bout marked the second time Iaquinta has beat Lee, as he also handed the fighter a decision loss in 2014.

Although Edson Barboza stopped Dan Hooker at Saturday’s event, the lightweight actually dropped one spot into the #6 ranking, on account of Iaquinta’s big move.

As a result of Iaquinta’s new ranking, it will be interesting to see who the rugged fighter takes on next. The outspoken fighter has relayed he wants to fight Tony Ferguson, however, many believe that “El Cucuy” could be next for the champ, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
