Corey Anderson moved his winning streak to three tonight at UFC 232, by outscoring fellow light-heavyweight contender Ilir Latifi.

Latifi landed a couple of battering leg kicks in the opening frame, and also tagged Anderson with some hard punches. Anderson took the shots well, however, and continued to pressure.

Anderson planted a thumping kick to the body early in round two and continued to press forward. Latifi attempted to take Anderson down but the latter defended well. A fatiguing Latifi flurried in with some huge shots, but was unable to land, and was huffing for air afterward.

In round three, Anderson was clearly the fresher fighter and he continued to move forward. A couple of minutes in, Latifi planted some hard hooks, but Anderson appeared to be fine. Both men picked up the pace in the bouts final moments, and before the final horn went, Latifi called Anderson on.

All three judges awarded Anderson the bout via scores of 29-28.
