Ed Ruth has established himself as one of the top prospects in all of MMA, and on December 15th, he’ll look to continue his journey from transitioning from prospect to champ.

That’s because on that date the ridiculously, decorated wrestler and undefeated fighter will face Neiman Gracie at Bellator 213, in the opening round of Bellator’s welterweight grand-prix. If you’re not familiar yet with Ruth, and are wondering why he has so much buzz, he’s a three-time NCAA Division 1 national champ in wresting. Yes, three times. The 28-year-old has also gone 6-0 now in MMA bouts, and he’s scored stoppages in five of those fights.

Recently Bellator posted the Countdown show below, which features Gracie and Ruth discussing their upcoming bout. It also includes Ruth outlining the massive plans he has for his fight career.

Bellator 213 will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii.
