While many are upset by the decision to move UFC 232 from Las Vegas to Los Angeles on a few days notice, former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones isn’t one of them.
Jones, who is the reason for the venue change, offered his thanks to the promotion and the California Athletic Commission for keeping his scheduled fight this Saturday with Alexander Gustafsson on track.
An abnormal drug test result conducted by the USADA forced the move, as the Nevada Athletic Commission would not grant Jones his license.
I’m focused on achieving my ultimate goal of reclaiming my Light Heavyweight title. I have willingly submitted to every USADA test in the lead up to this fight and USADA has confirmed what I've been saying all along, that I'm a clean athlete. I sincerely thank the California

State Athletic Commission and Andy Foster for doing the right thing and supporting me through this process. I cannot wait to fight Alex Gustafsson this Saturday December 29th at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood.
