In case you were wondering, that stoppage in the main event of UFC 231 on Saturday – you know, the one that had champ Max Holloway beating the daylights out of Brian Ortega – was a good one.

I mean, that’s what Ortega says. He would, of course, been more than willing to keep going, despite his face turning into hamburger.

But sometimes referees do their jobs and save lives, and Ortega has since acknowledged that the fourth-round TKO stoppage was kosher.

So yeah, Holloway: still the champ, still one of the baddest dudes around.
