The event aired live on pay-per-view from Casper, Wyoming.
Leben was competing for the first time since a 2013 loss to Uriah Hall at UFC 168. The win was his first in combat sports since a 2011 knockout of Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132.
The card also saw Dakota Cochrane, stepping in for Brennan Ward, earn a second round knockout victory over former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks.
