Francis Ngannou showed that he is still a threat in the heavyweight division, scoring a first round finish vs. Curtis Blaydes in the main event of UFC Fight Night 141.

The event aired live on UFC Fight Pass from the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China, marking the debut for the Octagon in the city.

Ngannou improved to 2-0 vs. Blaydes all-time, adding to a 2016 stoppage win he scored after the second round. The victory also snapped a two-fight losing skid for the 32-year-old native of Cameroon.

In the co-main event, former title contender Alistair Overeem stopped Sergey Pavlovich, ending the bout in the final minute of the first round. The win also ended a two-fight losing skid for Overeem, with the losses coming to Blaydes and Ngannou.

Yadong Song and Li Jingliang each claimed wins on the main card, with Alex Morono, Wu Yanan, Rashad Coulter, Zhang Weili, Liu Pingyuan, Xiaonan Yan, Kevin Holland and Louis Smolka adding victories on the prelims.

Morono and Kenan Song were named “Fight of the Night,” with Ngannou and Jingliang scoring “Performance of the Night” bonuses. The attendance was announced at 10,302 inside the Cadillac Arena.
