Following Alistair Overeem’s impressive win over Sergey Pavlovich last weekend, it looks like the legendary heavyweight is down for a scrap with Derrick Lewis.
Recently the decorated fighter tweeted the comment below, which is in reference to the now famous, post-fight statement of Lewis, after he took out Alexander Volkov in October.

Could this fight happen? Here’s hoping yes. More recently, Lewis was submitted by heavyweight champ, Daniel Cormier at UFC 230 earlier this month.
Overeem is currently ranked #6 and Lewis is #2, however, that could change when the new rankings go up, following last weekend’s card in Beijing (which also saw Francis Ngannou take out Curtis Blaydes).
