WWE Creative The Usos' Return

– It seems as if the RAW roster has been plagued when it comes to injuries as of late, with Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Kevin Owens, Fandango, Jason Jordan, as well as HHH out of action due to injury. Then of course, the WWE Universe was shocked in late October, when Roman Reigns announced he was taking a leave of absence from in-ring action to battle leukemia, thus relinquishing his Universal Championship.

Seems like there is another Team Red superstar that may be taking some time off. Post Wrestling’s John Pollick is reporting that Dolph Ziggler could be dealing with a foot injury right now. There’s not much more information around Ziggler’s condition, including how he hurt his foot, or which one it is, but WNZ will stay on this story to keep everyone posted.

Dolph Ziggler was at Survivor Series this past Sunday and helped Team RAW score a win during the traditional five-man elimination tag bout; however, he didn’t compete on RAW this week. No additional information on the severity of the injury or if Ziggler will require more time off the road.

– The Usos are undeniably one the greatest tag teams on either roster within the WWE today. Multiple tag team champions, they can play heels or faces, and can still get the crowd going. However, despite stellar matches and feuds in the past, the Usos seem to continually find themselves on the kickoff show in any pay-per-view (PPV), which was also the case this past Sunday during Survivor Series.

Oh You Didn’t Know’s Brad Shepard noted this recently, stating he had a conversation with a WWE source. They both speculated around the idea that perhaps Jey and Jimmy may have upset someone backstage, and wondered why this incredible tag team can’t make it past the preshow kickoff of a PPV, even when they are in title matches.

Shepard noted that the WWE source relayed that it’s unsure why the tag team could have heat backstage; however, the interesting part around it all was that the source didn’t reject the concept, which is quite interesting.

Backstage heat on the Usos could just be speculation, as both Jey and Jimmy seem like really great guys with a stellar work ethic. After all, while they do tend to sit at that preshow level when it comes to matches, at least they make those PPV appearances. There’s a ton of talent that find it hard to hit television, let alone WWE Network events.
