UFC vet Brandon Vera hasn’t competed since 2016, but that’s going to change this Friday at ONE’s “Conquest of Champions”, when he defends the heavyweight title against Mauro Cerilli.
The 41-year-old Vera will be fighting for the first time since December, 2016, when he took out Hideki Sekine. That bout was Vera’s third straight victory, since he exited from the UFC in 2013.
