If you thought you’d heard the last of Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting rising Japanese star, Tenshin Nasukawa, guess again…

Recently Rizin FF dropped jaws throughout combat sports when it announced that Nasukawa was going to fight Mayweather Jr. in  a special rules fight on New Year’s Eve. Mayweather Jr. attended a presser announcing the match-up, but then the undefeated boxer announced he had never agreed to any fight,.

Well, more recently TMZ caught up with Mayweather Jr. and he reported that they’re going to make the bout with Nasukawa “happen” after all. In addition, the American star had this to say, when asked about the rules:

“Rules? It’s gonna be a little boxing exhibition. No kicking. I’m moving around with the guy for 9 minutes, and of course it’s gonna be the highest paid exhibition ever.”

An “exhibition” huh? Guess we’ll see what that entails.
