Nick Diaz is so street that he sometimes poops asphalt. Jorge Masvidal is so street, his middle name is “Main”.

Okay, these were awful jokes, but they’re a clear indication of my excitement over the match-up between Diaz and Masvidal at UFC 235. Bros, the older, poorer Diaz sibling is finally coming back!

Neither dude is prone to slacking or hugging in the cage. In fact, these dudes are so keen on throwing down “street” style that referee Herb Dean has confiscated about a dozen switchblades from them prior to their fights. This bout will be insane!

Here’s ESPN with the scoop:

UFC welterweight Nick Diaz will return to competition on March 2 in Las Vegas, according to UFC president Dana White.

Diaz (26-9) has agreed to face Jorge Masvidal (32-13) in a welterweight contest at UFC 235 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Additional sources told ESPN contracts for the bout are not yet signed, but it is close to being finalized.

A former Strikeforce champion, Diaz has not fought since he suffered a decision loss to Anderson Silva in January 2015. The result of that bout was later changed to a no-contest, after both Silva and Diaz failed their respective drug tests.
