benton blount fired zz top

Liberals are always trying to victimize themselves, but in reality, it is supporters of Donald Trump who find themselves being persecuted left and right in America. Now, a singer who found fame on “America’s Got Talent” is saying that he was dropped from a tour simply for posting a pro-Trump image on social media.

The Blaze reported that Benton Blount, a finalist on the NBC reality television competition, said that he was fired from a tour opening for ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons after he posted a photo of himself wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat on Facebook. The image showed him wearing an “I Voted” sticker and holding a Chick-fil-A cup. He captioned the image, “Someone reading this just got offended multiple times. My work here is done! #Vote.”

Blount claimed that he was fired the day after he posted the image and that Facebook banned him for 24 hours. Though Gibbons has denied that he fired Blount over politics, the singer is not buying it.

“I was banned from Facebook (for 24 hours) and now I’ve just been banned from my opening spot on the Billy Gibbons tour,” he wrote, adding sarcastically, “But suppression of Conservative opinion doesn’t happen and it doesn’t [affect] your career.”

Blount later elaborated on the situation in a Facebook video.

He’s right. It’s become dangerous to voice your opinion in this country and it does have to stop.

Trump supporters everywhere will likely not be surprised about what happened to Blount. Liberals claim to be the “open-minded” party, but they are actually only open to those who think the same way they do. They have no respect for Trump supporters, and they will do everything they can to silence and destroy them.

Our hearts go out to Blount, as it’s become painfully obvious that succeeding in the entertainment industry while openly supporting Trump is almost impossible. We can only pray that he is able to get back on his feet after this senseless firing!
