Wrestlers On McGregor - Nurmagomedov Brawl, SSD's Real Attendance

– UFC 229 was an amazing card that led to the biggest MMA fight in the history of the sport in UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov taking on the biggest draw ever in Conor McGregor. The match saw Nurmagomedov secure a fourth round submission and then all hell broke loose.

Nurmagomedov would jump out of the Octagon and go after McGregor’s crew. At the same time, Nurmagomedov’s teammates jumped into the Octagon and went after McGregor. Security and police needed to separate everyone in what will go down as one of the most disappointing, sickening and sad displays in UFC’s history.

Arrest were made but since McGregor did not press charges, those involved avoided going to jail. As for the title and Nurmagomedov’s future, that will be up to the Nevada  State Athletic Commission.

The fight caused plenty of comments on social media, including from the pro business. Here is a taste of what some said.

– During WWE’s Super Show-Down, the announced attendance was listed at 70,309 fans from Australia’s Cricket Ground in Melbourne. WWE often exaggerates their numbers and during the Wrestling Observer Radio, they said the amount of fans at Super Show-Down was closer to 62,000.
