UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov obviously isn’t feeling any remorse for his actions this past Saturday after his win over Conor McGregor at UFC 229.
Nurmagomedov, who jumped into a crowd of people to get at McGregor teammate Dillon Danis, posted a message with a picture of himself smiling on Instagram Monday morning.
“My face, when someone says that I didn’t like my jump, but I tried so hard,” he wrote. “I hope I don’t hurt my feelings with this jump.”
UFC president Dana White had said after the event that the Nevada Athletic Commission was holding Nurmagomedov’s $2 million salary for his decision. It remains to be seen if he will be stripped by the UFC of his title, which he was defending for the first time vs. McGregor.
