Evolution Spoiler, Big Show & Jeff Hardy Back On TV, Rey Mysterio’s Return

– According to PWInsider, several names from NXT will head to Long Island for Evolution on October 28. They told Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, Jessamyn Duke, Candice LaRae, Dakota Kai and Marina Shafir to make sure they are on hand. No word on what role they might play.

Although, with all of MMA’s Four Horsewomen present, this could be the perfect opportunity to build towards the rumored Horsewomen match for Survivor Series. The biggest obstacles to overcome is that Sasha Banks is currently out of action with an undisclosed illness and Becky Lynch now portraying the heel to Charlotte Flair.

– Several superstars will be returning to TV this week. As part of the Crown Jewel event, WWE is holding a World Cup Tournament. Already announced is Jeff Hardy vs. Samoa Joe and Big Show vs. Randy Orton.

Big Show has been off TV since September 2017. He was written out of storylines after Braun Strowman tossed him through a steel cage on RAW. The angle was done so Big Show could undergo hip surgery. Big Show was supposed to be a member of the Greatest Royal Rumble Match, but another injury flared up and his spot was given to someone else.

Hardy has not been on TV since last month’s Hell in a Cell. He opened the show, losing to Orton inside the Cell. The final spot saw Hardy climb to the top of the Cell’s inside structure before crashing down below through a table.

– Finally, WWE has confirmed the return of Rey Mysterio. The former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion will be at SmackDown 1,000 on October 16 and down below is the official anouncment.

Other names confirmed include Evolution (Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton & Batista), Undertaker, Edge, Torrie Wilson, Vickie Guerrero and Teddy Long. WWE is also trying to bring The Rock in for the historic show.

“SmackDown 1000 now has another number of significance attached to it. That number is 619, because Rey Mysterio is back!

The SmackDown legend will appear on the history-making episode, marking his return to the blue brand for the first time in more than four years.
The former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion is best remembered for energizing SmackDown with his signature aerial attack, unbelievable athleticism and never-say-die attitude. Mysterio was a cornerstone of Team Blue since the first brand split in March 2002 and helped define the SmackDown spirit.
What impact will The Biggest Little Man have when he makes his triumphant return to the brand he helped build?”
