WWE’s Super Show-Down is set to be one of the largest wrestling events of the year. Taking place in the massive Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia, the WWE is doing everything it can to start building some amazing rivalries.

The following matches have been confirmed by the WWE, although changes can still happen if one of the superstars involved gets injured. We’re promised an awesome. Here’s a break-down of what to expect.

Samoa Joe Versus AJ Styles

Another match between Samoa Joe and AJ Styles was in the cards after their recent pay-per-view clash. The storyline felt more personal than ever and is set to continue at Super Show-Down. Of course, the SmackDown Championship will be on the line!

The Miz Versus Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan and the Miz are expected to have a long rivalry this year, maybe even running until next year’s WrestleMania? Before then, the two will lock horns again to determine who will become the first contender for the WWE Championship. And don’t be surprised if Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega come into play.

Buddy Murphy Versus Cedric Alexander

The WWE has confirmed that Buddy Murphy will take on Cedric Alexander again for the Cruiserweight Championship. Alexander seems to have an unshakable grip on the title though, so we will have to wait and see if Murphy can conquer the unshakable Cruiserweight Champion. Murphy is a native Aussie, and he’s been putting on incredible matches on the criminally under-watched 205Live.

The Bar Versus the New Day

Super Show-Down is littered with title matches, including this one! The Bar will face the New Day in order to conquer the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. Either of these teams could lead the tag team division, so this is certainly a match a lot of people look forward to.

Triple H Versus the Undertaker

The Cerebral Assassin faces the Deadman again at Super Show-Down. It is one of the most anticipated matches of the night, especially since this is the very last time both men will have a match against one another!

John Cena and Bobby Lashley Versus Elias and Kevin Owens

I have to admit, this match feels a lot like filler. It is almost like the WWE ran out of ideas and pulled this rivalry out of nowhere. Even though the Owens versus Lashley thing is going on right now, I fail to see how Elias and Cena fit in here.

The Shield Versus Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre

My other half is not loving this rivalry, but I’m on board. I loved the return of the Shield and I am happy to see more of McIntyre. It’s a win-win in my book and a good choice for Super Show-Down.

The Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey Versus the Riott Squad

Considering the protected status of the Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey, this match is a no-brainer. Since the match is clear cut, I find this to be a rather poor booking for Super Show-Down.

Asuka and Naomi Versus Billie Kay and Peyton Royce

Unfortunately, this is a match that seemed to be pulled out of nowhere again. However, in this cas,e I do not mind so much. All athletes involved are amazing in the ring, so this will be a match to watch, despite the lack of a built-up rivalry. Plus it will be a homecoming for Aussie Shelias Billie Kay and Peyton Royce.
