Why Has Dean Ambrose Been Away from WWE Television?

Dean Ambrose has been on the injured list for a while, so a lot of fans are wondering what happened to Dean. Ambrose got a severe triceps injury. According to Dr. Jeffrey Dugas, Ambrose tore about 50% of his muscle. Naturally, this explains why the “Lunatic Fringe” has been away for such a lengthy period.

Ambrose is expected to return at the end of summer according to the Wrestling Observer. Speculation seems to be he’ll return at Hell In A Cell in September.

However, WrestleVotes, a twitter account that has broken news in the past, is reporting that Ambrose could be returning this coming Sunday at SummerSlam.

Getting The Shield Back Together?

According to The Wrestling Observer, the plan is for Ambrose to reunite with Shield teammate Seth Rollins in a tag team, picking up where they left off. This would make a lot of sense, considering the two were red hot when they reunited to win the tag belts. It would also give WWE a chance to bring back the extremely popular Shield in full-force when Roman Reigns as Universial Champion and Rollins and Ambrose as Raw tag champions. The three running roughshod over the roster again would be exciting!
