Jessica Eye will take on Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Fight Night 132 this Saturday from Singapore live on UFC Fight Pass.

The 31-year-old from Ohio previously competed at flyweight before moving to the bantamweight division.

If you’ve never taken the time to check out her career resume, do yourself a favor and continue reading.

As a three-fight pro, Eye took on Aisling Daly in 2011. A year later, she scored wins over Angela Magana and Zolita Frauto, adding a 2013 victory vs. Carina Damm.

In her first 11 fights, Eye was 10-1 as she signed a deal with the UFC. Her debut was against Sarah Kaufman, which she was declared the winner before testing positive.

Eye had troubles after that, dropping a split decision to Alexis Davis before rebounding to post her official UFC win over Leslie Smith.

Four consecutive defeats were next for her, as Miesha Tate, Julianna Pena, Sara McMann and Bethe Correia all came out on top via decision.

Just stop for a minute and look at that list again:

Miesha Tate, a former UFC and Strikeforce champion

Sara McMann, a title challenger and ex-Olympic medalist

Bethe Correia, a former UFC title contender

Julianna Pena, a current UFC title challenger and Ultimate Fighter winner

Alexis Davis, a former UFC title challenger

Sarah Kaufman, a former Strikeforce and current Invicta FC champion

After battling through those fights, and working through injuries, Eye scored a win this past January over Kalindra Faria in her return to the flyweight division.

If she can avoid any weight issues, Eye is definitely one of the more experienced members of the UFC’s newest division.

And with a win over Clark this weekend, she is on the short list of contenders to the belt.
