Mark Henry: Seth Rollins Is ‘Beyond Elite’

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently said on Busted Open Radio that Seth Rollins is "well on his way" to becoming one of the all-time greats.

Seth Rollins has been KILLING IT for months, and as frequent readers of Ringside Intel know, I will never miss an opportunity to sing his praises. But this time, it’s not just me extolling Monday Night Rollins; a legitimate Hall of Famer believes that Rollins is “well on his way” to becoming one of the “all-time greats in the business.”

Mark Henry, he of both the WWE Hall of Fame and the Henry Hall of Pain, recently told Busted Open Radio that Rollins is “going to be one of the best of the best before it’s all said and done.”

“Seth Rollins…right now, is for your money one of the most exciting guys wrestling. He’s getting to the ‘great’ stratosphere like beyond elite. He’s becoming like…dare I say Hall of Fame caliber guys. He’s going to be one of the best before it’s all said and done.”

Listen to Henry’s full comments below.

I love that Henry used the words “beyond elite” to describe Rollins. Henry probably didn’t do it on purpose, but it’s a nice little jab at a certain group that Finn Balor used to hang around. Besides, Rollins vs. Kenny Omega is one of my dream matches, so I’ll take any avenue to get there.

All potential jabs aside, though, I couldn’t agree with Henry more. WWE didn’t just give Rollins a shirt that says “Monday Night Rollins” for nothing. He’s put on PPV-quality matches week after week and is a Grand Slam Champion.

He’s the leader of one of the greatest WWE stables in recent history (if not all time), and the owner of one of the best WWE Championship runs in recent memory (and arguably the greatest Money in the Bank cash-in ever). Now, he’s picking up where The Miz left off and continuing to elevate the Intercontinental Championship to an equal level (and greater) than WWE’s world titles. Indeed, if anyone is “well on his way” to becoming one of the greats, it’s Seth Rollins. And that’s not my personal bias – that’s just fact.

What do you think about Seth Rollins? Do you think he has what it takes to go down in history as one of the greatest of all time? Share your thoughts below!
